[RESOLVED] Low sound with Creative PCI 512 in Win 2000

My SoundBlaster 512PCI has sound in Windows
2000; however, it is very light! I have to
crank the volume on my speaker way up just
to hear it. I have adjusted all the settings
to their maximum positions - shouldn't it
be peeling the paint off the walls? The
sound is normal when I am playing an audio
cd in the cd-rom drive. Does this sound
like a driver problem. Also, my Baldur's
Gate game won't recognize Environmental Audio
in the game settings. Does this sound like
those drivers aren't loaded? Help!!!

Are you using amplified speakers? Makes a big difference!!!
