Win98, AMD Duron 700 Sound Recording
Hi
I have an AMD Duron 700 PC with onboard audio facility. In Win95 I could record sound at the same time as I was playing, but in Win98 this doesn't work. What are the steps I should make to get duplex audio to work?
Thanks in advance,
H. Norheim.

Intel Mod
What is the onboard audio Chipset? There may be a Win98 issue for Full Duplex with the drivers.
Have you checked the motherboard manufacturer's website for updated Win98 drivers?
How did you upgrade, Win98 over 95 , or a fresh Win98 install? If it was a full new install, Win98 may have detected the chipset and installed its own generic drivers, which may not support all features. If so, try installing the drivers from the motherboard's driver disk, or updates as above.
