Tried to switch to Win98(full version)and after it was all said and done, windows could not recognize the soundcard. Apparently it is one of these AD chip sets with the number 1816 on it. Never heard of it myself, but I guess that is what HP thought was best to use. To the point, does anyone know where to get the drivers so Win98 can recognize the card and so I can try to switch again? I really don't want to do all the reformatting and loading of software so if you have this card and have switched to Win98 and it worked, let me know that too. Sorry this message is so frickin long.
