help install dos drivers please
i have an old packard bell PB 600 motherboard and the sound card that came with that system. i have downloaded the dos/win 3.1 driver as well as the win 95 driver. i have formatted the c drive and have loaded the necessary files onto a floppy to use as a boot disk. how do i configure/load the dos drivers for the sound card on boot up? please help. the zip files i downloaded do not have instructions, just file which i assume include the appropriate drivers. please keep in mind the PB system does not have windows, just dos (win 98 version). thank you!

Could you give us a list of the files contained in the downloaded ZIP?

I think mrpotatoz means the system has the DOS7 from a Win98 installation loaded. A copy of DOS 6x from somewhere would be better if you just want to use it as a DOS system, DOS7 is a bit of a memory hog.
What type of sound card is it, and what do you want to use it for?
For example, to just play some older DOS games, some will use a Sound Blaster compatible card directly, without any drivers loaded.
As asked above, have you unzipped the DOS/WIN 3.1 file? In it there should be an INSTALL.EXE or SETUP.EXE program to run which will set it all up, or maybe a batch file like INSTALL.BAT
