Ok once again the v-card is a c3000 permedia and it has 3d controls on the control display along with direct 3d and open gl controls with 4 meg on board have dl activeX 8 (had 6 on it then 7 now 8 all other programs work )
dxdiag says no 3d hardware WHAT GIVES

I don't think there's enough on-board memory to support OpenGL properly under the latest versions of DirectX. As painful as it sounds, you should dump that dog for something new. Just a suggestion...
