[RESOLVED] Is this a good card?
Thinking about buying:
Cardex GeForce 2 MX Video with Dual Head and TV-Out
http://www.lsmicro.com/prod_info/vid...idcgf2dhtv.htm
Anyone used it? Any good? I would want to use the Nvidia Detonator 3 drivers for it.

Never used it, but GeForce2MX-based cards with TwinView tend to be pretty good....especially if you get TwinView AND TV-out.

how much are you willing to spend? becuase the GeForce2 GTS are better and even better would be to get the 64 mb version and this way you wont have to upgrade for a very long time.

They do NOT allow multi-display in the same manner as the Matrox or GeForce2MX cards. The MX/Matrox cards allow you to span the desktop across both, or use one monitor as a zoomed-in version of the other monitor. Just to clear up any question before it's asked. However, the GeForce2 GTS (Especially the Pro and Ultra versions) are much better at 3D acceleration.

Just because I enjoyed this article, here's another reason for the GTS if you're a power user and not just a gamer. You'd also have to be technically inclined...

Thanks for the replies. I was thinking of this card beacause of the twin view and TV out. I can skip the twin view but not the TV out! Can the GTS card do this? I would like to stay under $200 on the card I get.
