Post Radeon VE Dual problems with ABIT MB

System- 1.4 Athlon on Abit KG7-RAID MB. using Radeon VE Dual graphics card. 1g RAM.

Problem- This graphics card prevents my system from booting up, I usually have to restart numerous times for it to give the post beeps then boots up. When running, seems to work fine, but if I restart, it usually won't and I have to reset or restart numerous times. I've updated Bios, Drivers. The system works fine with Geforce card. Any ideas?

Sounds like a Bum card, have you tried the card in another machine?

Long shot................take a pencil eraser and clean the contacts on the card. Make sure to get all the eraser trash off before re-inserting it.

Yes, I've tried it in other machines, seems to work oK, I've messed around alot with the setting of the card in the board, to make sure that it is setted, I'll try the eraser bit, at this point can't hurt. thanks.
