Gigabyte M/B to SCSI and LS120 devices

GA71XE4 M/Board does not like my SCSI Plextor CDRW for direct burns from CD Rom. Obviously an IDE/SCSI issue for the board. Similarly, the M/B will not entertain an internal "B" (LS-120) Drive. Please someone out there ! You know the answer

I'd go here (http://www3.giga-byte.com/support/support.htm) and download/flash the motherboard's BIOS to the latest version. That often fixes problems... http://forums.windrivers.com//cgi-bin/forum2/confused.gif
