ga-5aa and voodoo 3 2000 freeze

I have a GA-5AA m/b and a 450 AMD k2, with a Voodoo3 2000 agp card in it, although it runs fine when not performing 3d stuff, i have a problem with it locking on a few games. I was told that they was a driver for my m/b which will sort out the problem. Since i think it is overheating.

on some GA mtb jumpers must be set for voodoo to work properly
