...And I'm looking for a bios/driver update for this board. That crappy J-bond went out of business, and left me with this now non upgradable board. Thanks, guys.

If anybody actually finds drivers for this, could you be so kind as to contact me at:
clossfms@hotmail.com ? Thanks. (though I sincerely doubt this will happen)

I don't fully understand the problem sinse 82371A or 371E (PIIX4 or PIIX4e) are mature southbridges, a part of 440FX,440LX,440BX, 440MX northbridges. And for those PCI-ISA-IDE Xclelerators MS Windows 2000 has a native support... Anyway, Intel has convinient inf update utility, which is a unified driver for existing ALL IA chipsets. So, actually you can go to any latest board page at support.intel.com and download inf file.
For you to be sure about compatibility, first have a look at http://developer.intel.com/design/software/drivers/platform/3731/inf_utility/readme.txt
and then download at http://developer.intel.com/design/software/drivers/platform/3731/inf_utility/lic_infinst.htm

Hope that helps,
regards from Moscow,
Alexey
