Does this printer attach to the PCs parallel port?
If so, what type of printer is it (dot matrix, laserjet, inkjet) and what Windows version are you using? Thanks!

Note: Moshe's printer is actually a WinWrite 200. Which is a legacy parallel port laser (mono) printer.

Reference the FAQ at the URL above.
What this FAQ does not say (which I need to add), is this:
If the Printer Test produces garbage or nothing at all, then you need to change the Parallel Port mode to SPP (usually labeled as "Normal" or "Standard") in the CMOS-BIOS. Older dot matrix and laser printers were not designed to handle the higher data throughput of the more current Parallel Port modes, such as EPP and ECP.
