Various rumors have been bouncing around this forum about the possibility of lexmark not providing drivers for their 3200 and z11 printers. I have a 3200 and recently emailed their tech support. The "official" response is as follows:

- I'd like to send you a driver, but we don't have one available, yet. We are
currently working as quickly as possible on an NT driver that will support the
Windows 2000 format. In fact, many of our printers that support Windows NT 4.0
will have Windows 2000 support. Windows 2000, however, may be able to support
your printer using the Windows NT 4.0 drivers. While this is not a supported
use, there is a possibility that it will work, since the two operating systems
are somewhat related. Unfortunately, if you are unable to operate the printer
in Windows 2000, there is no way to diagnose the problem properly until the
drivers are available. This will happen sometime in the near future, but I do
not have an exact date.

I know that the NT drivers do not work so just ignort that...it is just them being ignorant. Other than that, they did say that the drivers would be out soon. So...just wait I guess.
