I have what I believe is a Linksys card but I can't ID it for sure. Went to the Linksys site and found some very similar cards but none with the MX chip that mine has. I can't find any useful ID numbers on this thing. In fact, the only things I can find to go on are the number on the chip, MX98715AEC, a part number, P/N 18-1B-P120, and a number just below the chip, 05-01-0287-05. Oh, and while we're at it, I need to know where to find a driver(s) for it, too. Anyone that can help will be my hero for the day. Thanks!

According to the info I found, you have a Macronix MX98715AEC network interface card. You can download drivers for your "MX98715AEC" NIC here (http://www.macronix.com/web/lan.nsf/Drivers) (select the second choice)... http://forums.windrivers.com//cgi-bin/forum2/biggrin.gif

Steve,

Yesterday, I managed to surprise myself. About 10 minutes after I posted the the question I stumbled onto the same link that you were kind enough to find for me. I do appreciate the help and will definitely post future questions on this board.

I'm going to put a post under Macronix to hopefully help out anyone else looking for this driver.

Thanks again!
