I have a Sager 8500 laptop and need the Win XP drivers for HAMR 5600 Voice Modem
Our Sager 8500 runs Windows XP Pro just fine. I was surprised how easy it was to upgrade from Win 2000 Pro. The dual boot WinXP Pro / Win 2000 Pro installation on a new partition completed without asking me for any new drivers. It even figured out that it was connected DHCP through a cable modem, automatically set up the internet connection and went online to get some updates or something and finished the installation. The modem works OK with the Win 2000 drivers.
I think I had to make some change to the power management features to keep it from stopping the hard drives or hibernating or something. We are connected to a home office network and have scheduled backups and other computers share files with it.
The only thing I have noticed is that some of the paint on a few of the letters is worn off. If yours dies please send me your keyboard.
