CW-7585-B -- Can't get it working - need drivers?

the CW 7585 I bought doesnt work with anything I know of. The bios and the Os recognize it but no software I use does. What's the deal with this? I guess Panasonic ripped me off, I will never buy anything from them again.

I just got one and I use the Easy CD Creator
and the Direct CD. Make very sure that you
do not have the UDMA on the Bios for either drive and also get the update software from Adaptec. AND DO NOT HAVE YOUR SCREEN SAVER ON AT ANYTIME YOU USE THE cdROM r AND rw. Later

Dude! I have the same piece of crap - but no driver for it, would you pleeeease send me a driver if you haven't put a hammer through the whole thing yet!
