computer won't find mitsumi cd-rom

I have a 486dxs that I wiped cleand. On reboot with windows 98 boot disk it won't recognaize the cd-rom. Where do I get a driver and how do I install it?

I don't know but I think I might have the same problem. Tell me how to fix it.
