Single Speed CD-ROM Drivers ?

We've an old single speed "top loader" cd rom drive from Mitsumi with I/F card. I've only found drivers and handbook for the double speed drive. The I/F card is similar to the one from that handbook, but the driver doesn't detect the drive. It's manufactured 1993-02-26, it's model no. is CRMC-LUOO5S. I don't know the model name.
Any ideas? thx in advance!
