I just bought a 4Mb AGP Trio 3D card for use on an old P200MMX, as I needed to free up a PCI slot for a network card.

Does anyone know if this is actually a 3D accelerator, or just a 4Mb version of the S3 Trio 64V+ - as that's the card I replaced.

I can't find any Direct 3D drivers for it - but the S3 Virge drivers seem to work OK, if slowly.

Any help would be appreciated.

I HAD THE SAME PROB WITH MY S3 3D.
IN DON'T THINK IT IS A TRUE ECCELERATOR
CARD..

YOU CAN OBTAIN THE DIREXT 3D DRIVERS FOR THE CARD THROUGH WINDRIVERS.COM.
FOLLOW IT STRAIGHT TO THE S3 SIGHT AND GET AN UPDATE

The Trio3D is a little bit better than the Virge in 3D. You could visit http://www.s3planet.force9.co.uk/ but they are out of business for the moment. But you still access the OLD part of the site for some info. Disable CommandDMA for stable 3D.
