I run a 50 user network that is made up of approximately half machines of exactly the same hardware. Result is that I Ghost hard disk images rather than individual reinstalls. - W95
The "half" number of machines have Trident 975's and maybe 5 of the others have S3 86C765. The monitors are all Sony 200GS's.
Our "default" resolution is set to 1024x768x16K. When I try to set this on the S3 equipped machines the monitor shows interlaced. I then have to drop to 256 colours on the S3 to get a nice image.
Changing the refresh rate properties in the display tab doesnt affect the output. Could the prior installation of the Trident driver affect this.
I have all the right drivers in place... Any ideas? Cheers, Bob
