S3 Trio64V+ Refresh Control Problem

Hi!

I downloaded new drivers for my card. There's S3 Refresh program included. My monitor supports 800x600x56 Hz only, so, I'm trying to set the value, but the video driver (or what?) doesn't switch on the refresh rate, but still works with 60 Hz. I just can set any refresh >= 60 Hz. But there's an item in the list box: 56 Hz... My question is: why doesn't it work?

You might try to change it via youy BIOS, It works for my setup(HP Vectra).

Incidentally, where did you download your drivers from? I didn't get any with my (secondhand) computer.

Are there NT 4.0 drivers for the
S3 Trio64V+

It also has a code on it that reads
Stealth64 Video 2001 series
