For some reason, the Panasonic/Mat****a DVD rom I have purchased works fine with my old fic motherboard, but when I try to play an audio cd or a dvd with my new SIS motherboard (5597/5598) it doesn't work, and eventually my IDE controller spazes out and stops working. Any advice? I haven't tried the driver I just found on line yet.
