I recently downloaded the drivers from SiS with the so-called OpenGL support, and found that OpenGL applications are just as slow as beforehand, when I was using only software emulation. I run Windows 98 SE on an AMD K6-2 350.
I have the glsis326.dll driver in my windows/system directory, as well as opengl32.dll and glu32.dll. I tried to make acceleration work by renaming glsis326.dll to opengl32.dll, and that failed completely. (I have name the drivers back to their original names).
Does anyone know how to get the OpenGL driver to work?
