I am haveing a very hard time getting the drivers to load from the disk that came with this motherboard . I have tried everything i know . the win95 pnp doesn't see the card at all and it seems like it cant find it when i try to load it from the driver disk that came with the board any help would be appreciated
Could be 2 things (or more!):
Have you checked that there are no Other Devices listed in the Device Manager control panel? If they are there, you could delete any references to sound, restart and it may auto-detect.
Alternatively, assuming it is onboard sound, are the jumpers set correctly (or the BIOS in the case of some boards) ie. is sound enabled? If not (you will need to check your manual for the jumpers), then windows does not know that there is sound there.
