SiS 5598/5597 WinME Driver Solution

Recently I found one solution for all those infortunate people that have decided upgrade their systems with a SiS 5598/5597 graphic board to WinME...

Here it is...

* Go to this page http://www.sis.com.tw/support/download/5598old.htm

and download the files 597109-3.exe, 597109-4.exe, 597109-5.exe and 597109-6.exe. Save them in a temporal folder.

* Then unpack them all double clicking on each.

* Finally run the installation program and enjoy.

You should notice that these files ARE NOT the most recent driver files for the SiS 5598/5597, but they are the only ones that ACTUALLY WORK in WinME.

Please, download these files before the infamous guys of SiS decide to take them off of their website...

You should zip them together and upload them to www.driverguide.com (http://www.driverguide.com) so even if SIS pulls them or goes down they remain available...
