I have had a computer for nearly 18 months, without knowing I had USB working with it. After I enabled it in my BIOS, windows recognised it as Sis 7001 Pci-USB etc... However, I don't have any wiring from the motherboard to the outside of the computer so I don't know where it is. If anybody could help me with a manual of some sort, because SiS's homepage isn't much help. For your info I ran the sischip.exe program which detects your chipset, I got:

Northboard: 5591
Southboard: 5595

Make whatever sense you can out of it, it doesn't make any to me.

Please can you help me, Id appreciate it loads if you could because Im in a dead end situation

I think what you must get is an usb/pci card...if you have no visible usb connections....you just enabled the function in your bios..these usb cards are quite reasonable in price and well worth it..also when your compuer loads look at the bottom the last letters and digits will help you with who manufactured your motherboard..sis only makes chips
