All attempts to install and run Visio fail with the error message:
Visio32.exe has generated errors. Please restart the program.
A Dr. Watson dump is generated.
This occurs despite repeated attempts to install, repair, reinstall, install in Safe Mode, apply Win2K SP1, etc. All diagnostics recommended on the Microsoft website were attempted.
We tried on 3 different VAIO F590K units, with 3 different Visio installation CDs. We even tried Visio Pro and Visio Enterprise Edition.
