Updated Driver for CDU4821/4811

I need an updated driver for my Sony CD-Rom, model CDU4821/4811. Couldn't find it here, or at sony.com.....

Wish I could help you out, but I'm having the same problem with the white box CDU4811 I just purchased. Though it does seem to work with the 'catch-all' mscdex.exe, I'd like to have the actual drivers that go with this product.

Anyone having a driver for 4811 that works with Win2000, please post it. I do not understand anything right now... It worked with Win Nt4 and worked while upgrading to Win2000, but now I do not have a CD-ROM drive any more... So please!!! Thank's for helping me!

I'm having problems too on the 4811 - the generic win98 drivers work OK but it would be good to have the real thing - especially as I seem to be having problems with my Iomega ZipCD RW

There are a few drivers located on www.driverguide.com, (http://www.driverguide.com,) but this is the one I used for the sony cdu4821. I have installed it and works just fine. You may have to register on driverguide.com, but it's free, so what the heck!
