Anyone know where I can get the drivers for my new cdrom - Sony CD-U4811?
No luck searching this site or the Sony site.

Thanks!

If I knew where drivers were, I'd be using one right now, instead of being here!!! I think everyone has this problem with drivers.

Solution- sell you cd rom, look on the web for a company with good support and buy their cd rom. That's what I'm going to do!

CD-ROMS are auto-configured by Windows and all you have to do is slap it in and Windows will pick it up and install drivers for it. If you're starting with a new build your puter will install the Oak drivers after you boot-up with the boot disc. I've used the 4811 CD-ROM and it's a nice unit although it has compatibility probs with some motherboards(ex:Soyo 6BA+100)
Sony told me that, although it says Sony on it, they offer no support and you have to go to where you bought it for support!!?? Sony has the worst support I've ever seen maybe with the exception of Abit who offers no help at all(I quit using Abit products after i got a "too busy" in their automated email response!)
