HElp me please.
I have just installed win98 on my new pc. Meaning newly bought, but used. It says that there is a "PCI Multimedia Audio Device" installed, and as far as i can se there is a soundcard installed. BUT!! - it keeps on telling me that the driver is missing, and i just can't install it. It is totally impossible to find the one i should use.
Could someone who knows more about this that me please helt me as soon as poossible as i am f..... until i get a sound driver.

Thanks very much
Birgitte

You will need to remove the cover of the case and see if the sound card is a seperate card or if it mounted onto the mainboard. If it a seperate card, use the windrivers "Identify Hardware" links to help you find a driver for the soundcards chipset. If it is mounted on the mainboard, you will need to identify the mainboard maker and download the soundcard driver from their web site. Hope this helps.
