Volume control

Hi all,

I plugged a mic into my Soundblaster card. It doesnt work. The instructions say to activate it via "Volume Control" in the control panel, but I don't have such a thing.
Where can I get it or someting that will make
it work? Any help is appreciated.

basicly you just have to use the mixer that came with the card(sotfware)rightcorner below you have a lightblue icon (square ,looking maybe like a mixing pannel)if you clic it you get the volume control. just doubble clic and you get the mixer,(if properly installed) Here you will see that they mic is turned of(default)and you can turn it on by pushing the mute button under the mic.
