Hi folks!
Am I trying to do something impossible here?:
I have an STB PCI 2MB video card that was original in my Gateway Pentium 75 machine. It all still works great except that now I can't use Real Player to see video. Real Player 7 says now that DirectDraw needs a Windows 95 compatible driver to work. After I acknowledge that message the screen scrambles and locks up. I'm running Windows 98 very successfully otherwise. My question is whether there is a driver for this card that is Windows 95/98 compatible. I can't find one. Of course I find fooling with video settings etc. kind of scary!! I believe the driver I'm using now is PGP.drv. Thanks for any advice anyone has... Jim
