Have a new K6-2 350 with Win95 OSR2, Amptron PM-0585b MVP4 Super 7 mobo. Plug&Play detects the on- board video identified as:
Trident 8400 PCI/AGP ver. 6.50.5480

I select the 585 driver under the WIn9x directory (on the AMptron mobo disk) and it installs OK. But when the PC reboots, it gets to the point where the GUI should appear, and locks up with hour glass. I was able to get into safe mode, and
when I uninstalled the video driver from device manager, then WIndows would boot all the way again. there were other model drivers, like 571 to select, but I defintely selected the correct one according to the model number on the mobo box. What's up with this? Do I need to get an updated driver, or a different model #? Thanks for your help.

Hey, I have the same problem. I know it's been a long time since you posted, but if you or anyone else has a fix I would appreciate hearing it.
