<IMG SRC="smilies/confused.gif" border="0"> Hi!!

I have a 4D-WaveDX Trident Soundcard initially when i installed it in Win98 it got installed successfully and worked fine but recently when i made a clean install of Win2k on my system, the drivers that were originally supplied with the card don't work and now my system is deaf & dumb?
Please help me regarding this matter!!And do tell me the exact location of the correct drivers required..

I was able to find this page http://www.3dsound.com/drivers/4DWave/Windows2000.html which indicates that Trident has got out of the chip manufacturing business and is no longer making drivers for this chipset. No official W2K drivers exist for this card, (although there are unfinished drivers floating out there, somewhere) so it looks like you're out of luck.

I contacted Trident and they gave me a link to a 3rd party driver, but everytime I try to install the driver, my pc reboots. I am in the same boat. I had Win98, upgraded to Win2k and everything was fine. Did a clean win2k install and now I dont have sound either
