I am new to all this so if anyone can help I'd like a reply in easy to understand English. I have a Compaq 7482 with the Trident Graphics card. I can only get 680x480 resolution unless I uninstall and then reinstall the driver. And even then, this has to be done on every occasion.If I try to do this through "My Computer", it won't let me alter the resolution.
Can anyone help?? Pleease?

go to www.ping.be/bios (http://www.ping.be/bios) and from there you can find your chipset and all the drivers.. i use the trident cyberblade i7 with a resolution 1024x768 with 32 bit color.
