i checked if i could update my old modem 4 free to 56k through flashing the epprom on it and 3com said i could so i dl the upgrade utility and ran it and flashed my modem and now the thing is fried it doesn't work right at all...but 3com said i could and now i check again and they say i need to send 60$ to get true 56K...what the hell? can someone help here?
