I am having trouble, and I'm not sure where the trouble is. I have a Sportster modem, upgraded to 56k x2 v.90 from 33.6. I have been having trouble with the line disconnecting if it is silent for about 2 minutes. If I keep the connection busy, It's fine. I have been unable to correct the problem, entering init strings in the extra settings portion of the modem properties. I had been putting in S12=0, S15=128 and S32=34, all to no avail. I was told by my ISP to come here and see if there was an update for the v.90 code of the modem, but I have been unable to find it. The product code of the modem is 00084005. I need some help.
