I have a new ATI All in Wonder 128 PCI, and can't get the TV tuner to open. I get a message that the hardware can't be found or is already in use. A second window comes up saying to check drivers and installation. Everything seems OK in the set up, and I've reinstalled a number of times. I am using the WIN 98 dual monitor with two video cards. Everything else is working, no conflicts in device manager. ATI hasn't responded. They are bad news! Any ideas?

I seem to remember something about some video cards having trouble with dual-monitor setups. Have you tried pulling the second card and seeing if your ATI Player works?

While not a reply, I am having similar problems with an ATI All-In-Wonder 128/32 AGP card. It took me almost two weeks to get DVD, CD music/video to function properly, I have yet to figure out how to make the TV tuner work. In my case the system locks up trying to launch TV from the Multimedia Center. I have communicated with ATI tech support multiple times, even sent them a full review of IRQ, I/O Resource and memory usage. Would be VERY interested to hear from others.

I am having the same problems with the ATI All in wonder 128 32meg card. The television and the DVD player will lock the machine. I have updated all the drivers, no luck. I also have a SoundBlaster Live x-gamer, I have noticed that if the software for it isn't installed, the dvd,tv works perfectly. I am not having any IRQ conflicts either. I have sent ATI an email and am waiting for a reply.

I'm having similar problems. Can't get the TV player to work or capture video. System totally freezes up. Games running at a normal "PCI" speed. (AIW 128 32mb/AGP). Tech support wasn't much help either. I purchased the board primarily for the video capturing. What a bunch of crap. I've tried loading updates from the MB chipset but made no difference whatever. The sad thing is my brother brought his Diamond 770 Ultra 32mb over and I installed it and the driver - WORKED GREAT - THE FIRST TIME! The video rates were exactly what they should be with AGP 2X. Oh well. I'll keep trying. I'm throughly disgusted with ATI at this point.

I'm having a similar problem with an All-In-Wonder 128 32MB AGP. Technical Support told me to disable USB. They don't have any idea why the Television program is locking up my PC. I'm a computer tech, and I can't even figure it out. Anybody have a similar problem and actually get anywhere with it?

I have purchased a All-In-Wonder 32meg board. Each time I start the TV it locks up. I too have a Sound Blaster Live (Value). The TV will work w/o the sound drivers loaded but if you click ANY BUTTON. Whole system lock up. I'm buying a new motherboard and processor to fix it... So far more money down the drain to make the ATI work!

I have an All-in=Wonder 128 on an Asus P2B-DS motherboard (currently running 1 400Mhz P2). TV works great as does the video capture. The only problem I've had is the DVD Player. I've got an IDE DVD drive, Plexter 40 SCSI CD-rom and a Plexwriter 4/2/20 CD-RW SCSI. To use the DVD player I had to make a new hardware profile that I disabled the SCSI controller in. The same is true of the DVD player that came with my Diamond MX-300.
