ATI rage Fury and ASU P5A

I use a Win98 OS and i have many troubles when anything. Always the same symptom: Win98 enter in a disable wait and i have to reset my machine because nothing is responding.
Does anyone got this problem? How can i do?
I have already installed the latest driver for my video card and the bios of the motherboard.

I also have an ASUS P5 with the ATI RAGE 128 and the exact same thing is happening. I however live close to ATI Tech Head Office and they will be taking in my system to attempt to discover the cause of the problems.
