Hi,
The image represents an example of the generic artefact.
This problem is present before and after the installation of the ide and graphics driver downloaded from ecsusa site.

There is a solution?

N.B.: the o.s. is win98 se

Thanks

OK a couple of things to try. You installed the SIS ide driver on 98 - I have always found this to cause problems - UNinstalling it causes major headaches.

Have you looked at what the video acceleration is set to?

Right click on the desktop, properties, settings, advanced button - if I remember rightly, video acceleration is controlled under the troubleshooting button of the adapter tab.

Play with the settings, see what happens.

Another thought - have you updated directx?
