AVI File compatibility

I capture video from my camcorder on one PC with and All-in-Wonder Pro then copy the files to an other pc via my home network. The second pc is a better spec that the capture machine and I wish to use it for editing. However none of the video editing packages revognise the AVI file format created by the ATI card?

The second PC has a 3Dfx card installed.

Help?

Sounds like a basic video incompatibility with your avi player. Try downloading and installing the latest drivers for your 3dfx video card from here (http://www.3dfx.com/downloads.htm)... http://forums.windrivers.com//cgi-bin/forum2/confused.gif
