My problem is that I got this given to me a few days ago and I cannot find the way to change the settings in the BIOS??? I is set for first boot from the floppy drive and I want to set it to boot from a harddrive but I cannot find out how to do it? If anyone has the way to do it, would appreciate any help you can provide very much!! want to fix the whole computer up for my niece as a birthday present, I am short on time too! Her birthday is on the 24th and still have to get the other components in it, cd-rom, soundcard etc... Thanks ahead

You will need to know the manufacturer and maker of the BIOS. As for entering the BIOS Setup routine, usually you hit and hold the F2 key or the Escape key on bootup. With some Compaq's and HP's, you need to hit the F1 or the F10 key.
On another thought, having it set to boot from the Floppy is not a bad idea. Especially if you need to boot from it in case of HD errors or recover from virus, etc. If there is no floppy disk physically installed, it shouldn't be a problem. It will just bypass that and then search for the next in line...usually the HD or the CDROM.
