I have the same problem with my Asus V9560 and problems keep getting worse. The fan will stop running and/or the smart doctor will report that my motherboard is supplying insufficient voltage. At first i would just get a few stray pixels but now the whole thing goes haywire and nothing is recognizable. This happens in EVERY game Rise of Nations, Medal of honor, halflife, etc. I'm running a 2.4/533 with a MSI 865PE Neo2. built around August '03. To remedy the problem i've enabled dynamic graphic cooling, overheat protection, set the clock speeds as low as possible, added an extra fan to move air from the video heatsink out of the back of the system directly by opening some empty slots and using a squirrel cage fan. Anyone have any ideas? MB Video incompatibility? bad video card? If you need more info about my system versions of software bios etc. just post or email me. I'm really fed up with this problem and i'm willing to try anything. Thanks!!

What power supply have you got?
Have you considered the motherboard may be faulty?
Do you use a surge protector?
