ati rage 128 vr rl agp

Please can anyone help me i'm going insane!! Just upgraded pc with pc partner motherboard with via chipset with Amd Thunderbird 850. I keep trying to install the 128 bit drivers for my ati rage 128 vr rl agp card but everytime I do it my display goes back to high colour 16 bit & windows halts when restarting ? Does anyone have an idea ? Would it have anything to do with running on Millenium & running Direct 8.0 drivers ?

Make sure you have installed the VIA 4in1 drivers your motherboard requires.

Hawe you try win2k ??<br />I do no`t recomend, <br />ATI is a bul**** card
