AGFA ARCUS (SCSI) Problems / Windows XP

Hi all!

I recently updated from Win 98SE to Win XP Pro, and now I can't get my Agfa Arcus SCSI-scanner to work!

I have downloaded ScanWise and I have also downloaded FotoLook from the AGFA.com-website.

The reason for it not working is that XP can't find the scanner on the scsi-bus, which is really weird, because when I start the computer, the SCSI-card finds the scanner on the bus, and even names it "ARCUS"!

AND XP HAS found it and even tried to install a driver for it, which I did, but then it just found it again and wanted to install the driver again... and so on until I got tired for it not finding the scanner while using ScanWise or FotoLook.

So, what is wrong and what do I have to do?

have you tried installing the current agfa drivers? (http://www.agfa.com/digicam_scanner_drivers/scanner/arcus_horizon/)

read through the faq? (http://www.agfa.com/digicam_scanner_drivers/faq/) particularly about user rights.
