DataView Attach-Detach mismatch.

There is a satsnap1.ps file in the folder. I have visited many forums and spent endless internet time. My internet time is very expensive in a third world country. I hope somebody can help.

Thank you

Uninstall the software in safe mode with ME system restore turned off. Remove the scanner from device manager if it shows up there. Reboot to normal mode

download the latest driver from agfa here (http://www.agfa.com/digicam_scanner_drivers/scanner/snapscan_310p_EZ/)

Install it in normal mode.
contact agfa if it continues (http://talkto.agfa.com/) as they have no faqs that cover your error message.

I have already done all this without any success. I also downloaded the same file from 3 different sources including Agfa. I have just posted the question to Agfa.

I thank you for your immediate response. I would have replied sooner but was watching WI-England cricket test match.

thanks again. I will be watching this forum for any furrther help.

You should try changing the bios settings for your parallel (lpt) port from epp to ecp or normal, depending on the choices you have. Some parallel scanners are very picky about the port type.
