It seems like every time I downlaod and install a driver update for my ATI All-In-Wonder-128 AGP video card, my game visuals improve, but I loose TV, video capture, and DVD functions every time !! More specifically, I get an "AMC peripheral not found" message when trying to run the TV-tuner application".
This time, I downloaded and installed the 4.13.7078 version of the drivers because my new game "Tribes 2" had no textures. Now the game is good, but once again I lost TV, video capture, and DVD functions. So I downloaded and installed the ATI Multimedia Center 7.1, and the ATI DVD player 4.1.0.0 updates, but still have no TV, video capture, or DVD functions.
I checked ATI's on-line support and FAQs (What little there is), but did not find an appropriate solution to this problem. I e-mailed ATI's tech support, but after 3 days, all I recieved was a "canned" automatic reply indicating that I should chech the on-line support and FAQs. What a waste of time!
So, does anyone out there know of a viable solution to get the TV, video capture, and DVD functions of the AIW-128 card working again?
