I never have been able to get ATI's beta Windows 2000 drivers to actually work.

I either get "the device could not start" in device manager, or I get "line in" as my only choice.

Finally, I downloaded and installed dTV and it works great, as I imagine it would w/ any tuner card as long as you have a decent computer (400Mhz+).

It may not have all of the other options like the Multimedia Center, but if you just want to watch TV like me, it's perfect. Plus, there are no drivers to install.

You can get dTV HERE (http://deinterlace.sourceforge.net/downloads.htm)

and a great TV tuner card support forum is HERE (http://www.avsforums.com)

If the TV tuner refuses to come on under Windows 2000, giving error messages about having the wrong driver or an existing device being in use download Microsoft's Digital Video update for DirectX 8 (http://www.microsoft.com/directx/). This will solve the problem.
