I have a Compaq Presario 1235 notebook/laptop. Can you tell me how to re-install Windows 98 SE from a CD? I should let you know I had a problem with computer and have deleated partition on hard disk. E-mail me at jon_buddy@yahoo.com

If the laptop is capable, boot from the win98 cd. If not, download the 98se OEM floppy diskette from www.bootdisk.com. Double click the file you downloaded, with a clean blank floppy in the drive and it will make you a boot diskette that should run the cd drive. you can then run setup from there.
