HP Pavilion 7867
device manager lists gameport, crystal wdm audio codec, mpu-401, all supposedly working fine.

No sound in anything, if I go to sounds in control panel, you cannot adjust the volume bar on the bottom.

What driver do I need, if any?

yeah, i looked there already, it didn't help.

I was fixing another hp machine that had a similar problem, and I had to find the hp crystal 4299 drivers for it to get the sound working. If I can find the exact crystal chipset, I bet I could possibly get it working.
It's an asus clul-l motherboard.
