vxd file problems.

Recently, windows 98 has been freezing on the logo screen on start up. I did a bootlog, and the problem appears to be an ati vxd driver. ATI2AVXX.vxd ( I think). I have tried removing the display drivers from windows and letting it reinstall them, but this doesn't work. Strange thing is, it only crashes on fist start up, and not all the time. If anyone has any ideas.... By the way my card is an ATI rage fury 32mb, and yes i ahave the latest drivers.

Try reinstalling new drivers from http://support.ati.com/products/pc/graphics/index.html Also you can go to your run program and type in msconfig. Then go to your start up tab and uncheck anything that has to do with ATI.
